Worth checking out are these Adobe presentations form NAB 2007. There's a very interesting one from Stu Maschwitz of ProLost and The Orphanage about the making of a commercial in his hotel room. All really interesting and inspiring.

Oh yes this was the other busy part of the week - an edit of T&G at LFW 2007. This is Part 1 - others to follow. Footage shot by those boys at Indelible. I did the edit and graphics and some of the music. Phew.

Final Cut to After Effects

I haven't tried this myself yet. Ha! But I will one day - Creative Work Flow Hacks has a FCP to AE Application for Mac OS X that's gotta be worth a try.

UPDATE: I have tried it now and it worked brilliantly. Fast, simple and effective.

UPDATE 12/10/07: I struggled a bit with the application on several projects over the summer - and found the problem is the app doesn't work very well with HDV - You tend to get a lot of randomness in your AE comp. There's more info on the Creative Work Flow Hacks site.

Oh what a busy week, not only Remix (see below) but this promo for Label.M's Summer products...actually that's not half of it. Created in After Effects - with a Voice Over by Carolyn Whitehorne and I even created the Samba-tastic track playing underneath - WOW!
